Our commitment to you
You will always be seen by a qualified physiotherapist, Registered with the Health Professions Council (formally called 'State Registered' or SRP), who will examine and treat you in
line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy's strict code of practice. After examination, the
physiotherapist will explain her assessment of your complaint and propose treatment if appropriate,
explaining what is involved, any risks, and if possible give you an estimate of the number of treatment sessions
needed and the time period required. You may decline any of the treatments proposed, without prejudice.
Your consultation and treatment will always be on a one to one basis and in the privacy of the treatment room.
Your appointment/s will be scheduled according to your needs to the best of our ability according to the workload.
A letter is normally sent to your GP or referrer unless you request otherwise, and you will be asked to sign a form consenting to this.
Anyone may book an appointment. This should be done by telephone on (01223) 874433
A referral from a GP is not necessarily needed, unless a
medical insurance claim is to be made for the cost of the treatment.
Your commitment to us
You will supply any information as needed by the physiotherapist to enable her/him to effectively treat you.
Arriving late for an appointment may result in you receiving a shorter treatment. Full payment will still be
required.
Payment will normally be made at the time of treatment.
24 hours notice is required if you wish to cancel an appointment and avoid a cancellation fee.
