Accreditation
In 1998 the OCPPP (Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice) introduced an
Accreditation scheme, in order to ensure that patients receive a consistently
high standard of professional treatment in a safe and organised practice, by staff who
are well informed and continually developing their professional skills. The Accreditation
process required practices to set protocols and assess their adhesion to them. The practice received
its accreditation in 1999. Although the OCPPP scheme is no longer in use, we have
maintained the principles.
The private health care provider BUPA has introduced its own accreditation
scheme for its clients and has accredited the practice as a 'BUPA Approved Provider of Physiotherapy Services'
