Penn Farm Physio - The Team

Gail Stephens joined the practice in 2005. She is experienced in all aspects of physiotherapy but is our Women's Health and continence specialist. In addition she also offers Pilates mainly on a one to one, or very small group basis. Natasha Woodbine joined us in 2005 and she brings with her extensive knowledge and experience in both general musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and Paediatric Orthopaedics. She has a special interest in shoulder and spinal conditions.
Martin Cragg joined us in April 2013. Martin uses his knowledge and skills from his degree in Physical Education and Sports Science, and his Msc in Physiotherapy, and 9 years in the NHS, to treat a range of complex musculoskeletal complaints using manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, ultrasound treatment, exercise prescription, and acupuncture.
Due to family commitments appointment times are limited with Martin so bear this in mind if requesting an appointment with him.
Helen Humphreys rejoined the practice in 2016 having worked for a while in the early days before the practice moved to Penn Farm. She is able to offer extensive clinical experience in the management of spinal conditions, upper and lower limb problems, sports injuries and orthopaedics.
Lotte Skjodt (pronounced Lotta Shcoot) joined our team in September 2015. As well as bringing a wide-ranging clinical experience to the team, she has a special interest in sports injuries, neck, jaw and headache problems, which she treats with many different modalities including orthotics and acupuncture. Victoria (Tor) Clark joined our team in June 2018. She has experience in all aspects of musculo skeletal problems and is also trained in APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) Pilates.

Helen Kirbyshire joined us in December 2017 bringing her wide-ranging physiotherapy experience to the team. Helen is a pain specialist and she has found that enabling chronic pain patients to understand their pain gave her huge job satisfaction. Susanne Maynard is the owner of the practice which she originally started in her own home in 1987. Susanne has decided that as from 1st January 2018 she is retiring from 'hands on' work in the practice, but will continue to play an active role in the smooth running of the practice and maintaining the high reputation that the practice has earned in the 30 years since she set it up.

Charlie Pollington for Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Remedial Massage.

Naomi Marris
teaches the Alexander Technique.
Phil Maynard is Susanne's husband and acts as Practice Manager, Telephone Answering Service, Accountant, Website designer and manager etc. Phil may well be the person that you speak to if you ring the practice.
